WEEKEND RESULTS, 4.25.15

  • The 96/97G team had a convincing 6-0 win over Altoona this weekend. They gave a dominant performance from the beginning to end of this match.
  • The 99/00B Elite team was finalist at the Nike Cup Tournament this past weekend. They had a strong showing, allowing zero goals in the first three games. The boys played strong all weekend on their way to the final where they lost 1-0 in OT. Great effort all weekend, boys - well done!
  • Century 0102B Black finished out their first Champions League season with a 0-0 tie against Arundel. The boys finished their season 6-0-1 and only allowed 1 goal. Well done, Boys!
  • The 02/03B Elite team had a strong showing this weekend at Nike Cup. In their first ever 11 v 11 tournament, the boys played in the top flight without their starting keeper, who was out with a broken hand. After a loss in the first match against the eventual champions, the group bounced back with 2 strong wins to finish out the weekend.
  • The 02/03G Elite played against their sisters from the East complex over this past weekend and came out on top 3-0.
  • The 02/03B Premier group had a solid performance at Nike Cup this past weekend. The Premier team went 2-0-1 for the weekend and showed a huge amount of hustle and teamwork. Congrats, boys.
  • The 02/03B Classic team also had a great showing at Nike Cup. They ended up going 2-1 and are looking to build off of a positive weekend.
  • The 03/04G Premier team shut out North United Black, 2-0, under the lights on Saturday night. These girls gave a strong performance all around. Keep up the great work!
  • The 03/04B Elite team battled the elements and a few great teams to make it to the finals at the Nike Cup Challenge. The boys bounced back from being down 2-1 in the semi-finals to win 4-2 in overtime. They were on the attack against a great Lexington FC team, but ran out of gas and fell 2-1 in the final match. The boys are back to it this week with 2 PA West games. Great job and keep up the hard work!
  • The 04/05G Elite and Premier defeated their opponents this weekend as they both played at the North Strabane fields. They matched up against the Elite and Premier teams from the North. Great job girls!
  • The 05/06G Elite girls began their 2015 Spring PA West Spring season with a decisive win over Beadling this past Saturday at the Southpointe Fieldhouse. They look to keep the ball rolling this week in their home opener against Stars United (6PM).
